The AP Exam is over! Pick a project from the list below to finish out the year.
If you have an idea for a different project, contact me!
Option 1: Make a ZINE
Zines are a fun art form and can be made out of a single sheet of paper if folded correctly.
They can be printed and shared with others.
DESIGN A ZINE THAT CAN BE SHARED AND PRINTED

Option 2: Poster Art
We are living in an unprecedented time. Many artists are making art in response to what is happening in the world, or to express how they are experiencing this in their own lives.
The poster art below is from a project from Amplifier.org. Some background Information: "In response to COVID-19, Amplifier and our partners are launching an emergency campaign with top art curators and public-health advisors from around the world. We are looking for two kinds of work: The first are public health and safety messages that can help flatten the curve through education. The second are symbols that help promote mental health, well-being, and social change work during these stressful times. YOUR art has power. Art can heal, art can save lives, and art can bring us together even while we are apart. It can be a compass to guide us through this storm. This is your chance to make work that will be distributed worldwide and will inspire us all to stay strong, safe, and united."
The submission deadline has passed, but you can see many more examples as inspiration here: https://community.amplifier.org/campaign/global-open-call-for-art/
DESIGN A POSTER THAT SPREADS A PUBLIC HEALTH MESSAGE OR HELPS BRING US TOGETHER.

Option 3: Quarantined / Self Imposed Limitations
Working from home has created new limitations for everyone. You may have many art supplies, or you might be very limited. Think creatively and work from unusual or unexpected materials. Give yourself a rule that you have to follow.
You could work with everyday objects like the artist below, make art with food, or only paint with your toes instead of paintbrushes.

Benjamin Everett is a contemporary artist. His hybrid landscapes mix the traditions of photography and painting. His images are captured through extensive travel and wilderness experience, combined with scale and sculptural experimentation.
As you can expect, a travel photographer is having trouble working right now! While he has been working at home he created some amazing pieces using trash bags and views from his front porch.
